  2. Characteristics
BAM's new macro crystalline tungsten carbide powders offer superior wear resistance and extreme hardness due to our special process. Our products have the following characters:
ˇďFine grains and high microhardness 

Totally fine feathered structure, HV hardness is 2700~ 3300.

ˇďNo stress concentration and microcracks

The microstructure of the products have no stress concentration and microcracks.


ˇďAdvanced technology 

The Spherical WC/W2C eutectic particles are produced by ultra-high temperature and rapid solidification technology.


ˇďHomogeneous sphericity

The particles are regularly sphericity. The microstructure is homogeneous, dense and dendritic structure.


ˇďSuperior flowability and good wear resistance 

The internal structure is tight and uniform with superior flowability and good wear resistance.

 
  3. Application
Spherical tungsten carbides are applied mostly as a wear-resistant phase for hardening of drilling and rock-crushing tools, for making pieces by the impregnation and powder metallurgy methods. Granules are added to the composition of flux-cored wires, electrodes, rods and other consumables used for cladding the composite alloys having high wear resistance in order to harden a wire range of products.
 
  4. Package
Standard packaging is 50 kg per pail with polyethylene liner.
